I am in the process of designing a new mobile friendly website. Google will start bumping me from certain web searches if my site isn’t converted to mobile friendly. My goal is to have it ready by late July or early August, but we will see ho wit goes.
For now things will be the same, but the new site will replace a lot of the text on my homepage with photos and links. If there is something you would like to see on the new site, please let me know and I will see if we can make it happen. OK?
To my wonderful Colorado customers,
I have an update on the new Colorado State sales tax regulations. I’m sorry to say it’s not good news, which is why after a lot of research and thought I have decided to change my shipping policies for customers within the state of Colorado effective December 1st 2018.
The state of Colorado has changed regulations in a way that clobbers small businesses like mine. They now require the submission of sales tax returns based on point of delivery. In the past we only paid sales taxes for state and shared city or counties, but we are now required to know and understand the sales tax regulations for every point of delivery within the state including cities, counties and special districts not shared with the seller. Sales tax returns must be filed monthly for each point of delivery occurring within that month. Since we are also a home rule state, many of those cities are home rule which means we must submit returns for them separately. They can’t be included with our state sales tax return. The number of returns I would be required to submit every year would increase more than 10 fold.
The sad thing is that sellers outside of Colorado are being held to a $100,000 nexus requirement which means they only have to file sales tax returns if they sell over $100,000 in goods, but in-state sellers are required to submit on EVERY SALE even if it is only ten cents. The Denver Post ran an article about these new rules and how they will harm small businesses in the state. Hopefully their political clout will pressure law makers to change the rules so that Colorado citizens are held to the same rules as out of state sellers, but for now we have to make do.
Unfortunately my head injuries limit my ability to comply with something this complicated and I don’t have the finances to pay a 3rd party to keep track of sales and file for me. As a result I am in the process of removing shipping options and adding a “pick up” only option for those in Colorado who still wish to buy and are willing to drive to Westminster Jeffco for pick up (effective December 1st 2018). If you would like to have a courier service pick up and deliver your package, I would just need to know who is coming and when so I can have your package ready. The couriers I’ve checked into charge about $20-$50 for same day delivery within Denver metro, so I’m not sure that would be a viable option for most.
I’m so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. If the rules change I will post an update here. OK?
Take care and God Bless!

It seems that the state of Colorado has changed it’s tax laws and the requirements to pay sales taxes in every city, county and special district in the state. I’m in the process of trying to figure out the details, but if I am unable to find an affordable way to handle the new demands, I may have to change my policies for my awesome customers who live within the state. 😦
I’ll be in touch in the next couple of months regarding any policy changes and I will try to keep everyone affected in mind when making decisions. OK? As always, if you have questions please don’t hesitate to contact me. 🙂
Hey everyone! Just a quick note to let you all know that my 6mm round Alexandrite color changing beads and my 8mm Alexandrite/Silver cathedral beads have been discontinued by the manufacturer. I’ve found a few elsewhere, but the costs were at least 5 times what I normally pay, so I’ve decided not to restock for now. I will keep checking though and let you all know if they pop up again in the future.
I just found out that the most recent update completed in my online store has messed with some listings and wiped out their inventory. It will take me a while to figure this all out, but if you need something and you either don’t see it in the store anymore, or the inventory is showing “out of stock”, please contact me directly to check for availability.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Hopefully I can get this all figured out soon.
Take care and God Bless!
I hope all are well. 🙂 I wanted to give you all a heads up about my rose/Immaculate Heart centerpiece: http://www.rosarystuff.com/Rose-with-Immaculate-Mary-SP-34-in_p_537.html
My manufacturer has run out of the image we normally use for that center which means my new batch is a mix of the old and new. The new image has a white background and the Immaculate Heart is much clearer than the old one.
For now I have both available in the same listing as before to make comparing the images easier, but in the future the new center will be moved to it’s own listing. 🙂 If my awesome customers decide they prefer the white image then I can make sure we use that one on all future orders. OK? Otherwise, next time we will have him make more of the blue.
Take care and have a great week!!
It looks like our parts are in early! YAY!! It will take some time for me to inventory them all, but for those of you who requested special orders, please let me know if you need yours before I get them added to the store. OK?
Thank you for your patience.
