To those of you who know me, you know that every once in a while I put items on clearance that are either discontinued or that I will no longer carry. We’ll, it’s that time again! 🙂 Here is a list of the current items that I am clearing out to make room for other inventory. Once they are gone, there will be no more, but as in the past, if there are items that you use regularly I should still be able to request a special order for you, but the purchase will have to be in mass. OK? As always if you have questions, please let me know.
Since finding rosary centerpieces for certain saints can be difficult, I decided to take the plunge this year and have a couple made.
The 1st is of St. Dymphna. I’ve had more people requesting this one lately and the only other option I could find for her was a more expensive American made model. Unfortunately for some, the cost for those is just too high. My center is Italian silver plate. It features a lovely image of the Virgin Mary on the front and a photo of St Dymphna on the back. St Dymphna is most widely know for her patronage for those suffering from nervous and mental afflictions, but there is actually a long list of other causes she represents including sleepwalking, epilepsy, insanity, family happiness, incest victims, loss of parents, martyrs, mental asylums, mental health caregivers, mental health professionals, mental hospitals, neurological disorders, possessed people, princesses, rape victims and runaways.
The 2nd new centerpiece is of Saint Agatha. Again, it’s a less expensive option for those who can’t afford to spend a lot on a center. Any of my rosaries made using this centerpiece will have 50% of the proceeds donated to research. This Italian silver plate center features the same rose as my Immaculate Heart center with a photo of St Agatha on the back (patron of breast cancer). Click on the images to visit the store listing. 🙂 Discounts are available for both of these centers.
This is my new full sized Czech glass car rosary featuring jet black round beads, unique antiqued silver, diamond shaped, dice Paters and a St. Christopher medal. Unlike other car rosaries, these are fully customizable, and contain the complete lower section (instead of just 1 bead). If you would like to get more information about what colors and parts are available in this price range, please contact me.
This particular SSIR was made using beautiful light sapphire, ab clear and white pearl Czech glass beads. The photo center features Our Lady, Undoer/Untier of Knots who has recently become a popular mainstream image thanks mainly to Pope Francis. He considers it one of his favorite depictions of Mary. The original painting was created by Johann Melchior Georg Schmittdner around 1700 and hangs in the Church of St. Peter am Perlach in Augsburg, Germany. Mary is shown undoing or untying knots in a ribbon. The knots can be representative of all kinds of things from sin, world and community instability, marriage, medical, or job problems, or any personal or societal issue that seems insurmountable and beyond our reach to resolve on our own.
I recently teamed up with the National Fibromyalgia Association to create a new version of my Fibromyalgia rosary as a way to raise money and bring awareness for the millions of people who live with fibromyalgia. Many people in our country suffer with this incurable illness that is characterized by widespread pain, fatigue, depression and cognitive dysfunction, among many other symptoms. 50% of the profit from this rosary will go to the National Fibromyalgia Association, whose mission is to develop and execute programs dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with fibromyalgia. Come by and check it out!!
I recently found a fantastic new Pater option for my August (Peridot) Czech glass birthstone rosaries!! It’s a lovely luster Peridot rosebud. Now you have the option to use the traditional milky diagonal cubes or the rosebuds. And remember, if you want to mix in other colors or choose different parts you can do that as well.
This is my new jet black Czech glass rosary. It is made using 6mm Ave beads and 8mm Pater beads paired with your choice of Italian silver plate parts. This rosary also features my silver plate wire/chain upgrade. Come by and take a peek!!
