Just a quick note to let everyone know that I just got an order of stone beads in stock today. It will take me a few days to get it inventoried and loaded into the store, but there is a lot to choose from including onyx, Picasso jasper, wood jasper, dyed garnet, lizardite and many other earth tone colors. I also have some really pretty lavender and pink colors as well. If you need something before I get it into the store, please let me know and I can set it as a priority.
Check out this awesome paintbrush jasper stone rosary I just made for one of my wonderful customers. We used the 6mm jasper for the Aves and 8mm riverstone for the Paters paired with Italian silver plate parts, and sterling silver wire and chain. This is definitely one of my favorites.
My cancer rosaries are dedicated to friends and family members who have passed from various forms of this scary disease. They are a small gesture to help those who are going through, or have recently been through, the trauma of Cancer. At a time when they need to heal, find strength, and process through their grief. To read about the symbolism behind my custom cancer rosaries click here for Breast Cancerand click here for All Other Cancers.
It is not uncommon for those with a severe illness to lose their support systems. Sometimes family and friends aren’t strong enough to cope with the challenges and sacrifices involved in being there for someone who is very sick. It’s just too difficult for them to watch someone they deeply care about suffer so much.
I’m hoping my rosaries will be a source of comfort and support for ALL cancer victims (including those who feel completely helpless while their loved one either struggles for their life or loses the battle). They are also a gentle reminder to those who have survived to thank God every day for the gift of life and continue to pray for a cure.
The important thing to remember is praying for cancer victims, their families and friends is not enough. We also need to pray for those involved in cancer research, like the drug companies, doctors, scientists, etc. Sometimes their focus strays and their priorities shift to financial gain instead of finding life saving and affordable treatment options.
50% of the profit from all of my Cancer rosaries goes to various charities for Cancer Research.
This is the 3rd in my new line of Special Intention Rosaries. It was made using a mix of Riverstone, African Map Jasper and Clear Quartz beads. The faceted clear quartz stone adds a little bit of interest to the beautiful, soft ivory color of the Riverstone. The Paters are cubed African Map Jasper beads capped with AB Clear Czech glass flower bead caps. The Italian silver plate center and crucifix combo are paired with my thicker 20 gauge silver plate wire and 20 gauge sterling silver chain to accent the bright finish on the center and crucifix. For those who believe in the healing properties of stone, Riverstone is said to give strength and energy to those who are working toward change in their lives. African Map Jasper is said to help with relaxation, and grounding. Personally, I love both of these stones because of their unique, earthy beauty. This is the 2nd in a new line of Speziale Special Intention Rosaries. This one was made using a mix of Tiger Jasper and Clear Quartz beads. The slightly crackled round clear quartz stone adds a little bit of interest to the beautiful, swirls of the brown Tiger Jasper. The Italian silver plate center and crucifix combo are paired with my thicker 20 gauge silver plate wire and an aged 20 gauge silver plate chain to accent the antique finish on the center and crucifix. For those who believe in the healing properties of stone, Tiger Jasper is said to take us out of our logical mind and more into our bodies. It’s a stone that is supposed to help us “live in the moment”. Personally, I love this stone because it looks like petrified wood. You get the look of wood, without the fragile nature that comes with some wood beads. Come by and take a peek!!
Introducing my new Speziale Special Intention rosary! The rosary pictured below is the first in the line and was made using a mix of Impression Stone (Aqua Terra Jasper) and faceted clear quartz. I wrote and designed this new rosary as an answer to all the stress, fear, and burdens that we seem to be carrying around with us these days. Everybody LOVES diamonds!! Since most high quality diamonds are used for jewelry, rosary makers turn to some less expensive options that still add a “diamond look” and sparkle to any rosary. Alternative options include clear quartz stone, clear glass and even Swarovski clear crystal. The most flexible of the three is Czech glass because clear options are available in a variety of shapes, sizes and finishes (matte, AB, luster, etc) that other glass, crystal, and stone colors don’t always offer.
Some even believe that diamonds enhance things like competence, trust and love. They are also a symbol of strength due to their sturdy composition. Although diamonds are usually the first choice in engagement rings, they also represent both the 10th and 60th wedding anniversaries. Another interesting tidbit, many ancient religions saw diamonds as either hardened tears or tools of God (or of “the gods” depending on the religion). What a wonderful visual to keep in mind for those whose birthstone is the diamond!!
Best of all, Diamond (Crystal Clear and Quartz) are also the official birthstones for April!!!

Amethyst is another of my most popular rosary colors. Energy medicine and other alternative practitioners believe that amethyst is representative of spirituality, peace and healing energies, but for me personally it has always been a very a spiritual color tied to the season of Lent and the suffering of Christ. The shades used for most of my glass and crystal beads are based on Amethyst stone colors and will vary from darker, to lighter, to milky and even a more grapey color. I also offer a few genuine stone bead options for those who appreciate the beauty of real stone.
Best of all, Amethyst is also the official birthstone for February!!!

Check out this customizable Smokey Quartz stone rosary. The gold plate finish is a nice addition to the rich brown color of the beads. Since the cost of this stone has increased quite a bit over the last couple of years, this rosary will be the last one I can make at this price (only $28.50).
