Why Cancer Rosaries for Charity??

My cancer rosaries are dedicated to friends and family members who have passed from various forms of this scary disease. They are a small gesture to help those who are going through, or have recently been through, the trauma of Cancer. At a time when they need to heal, find strength, and process through their grief. It is not uncommon for those with a severe illness to lose their support systems. Sometimes family and friends aren’t strong enough to cope with the challenges and sacrifices involved in being there for someone who is very sick. It’s just too difficult for them to watch someone they deeply care about suffer so much.

I’m hoping my rosaries will be a source of comfort and support for ALL cancer victims (including those who feel completely helpless while their loved one either struggles for their life or loses the battle). They are also a gentle reminder to those who have survived to thank God every day for the gift of life and continue to pray for a cure.

The important thing to remember is praying for cancer victims, their families and friends is not enough. We also need to pray for those involved in cancer research, like the drug companies, doctors, scientists, etc. Sometimes their focus strays and their priorities shift to financial gain instead of finding life saving and affordable treatment options.
